Privacy Policy — Getlead CRM Connector

What the extension does

Getlead CRM Connector adds a button to WhatsApp Web that lets you save the contact you are currently chatting with (name and phone number) as a lead in your Getlead CRM account.

Data the extension accesses

• Contact name and phone number of the WhatsApp chat you have open, read only when you click the "Save to Getlead" button or when the button checks whether the contact was already saved.
• Optional email, notes, source and status that you type or choose in the save dialog.
• Your Getlead API key, which you enter in the extension settings.

The extension does not read message contents, media, or any chat other than the one you have open.

Where the data goes

• Contact details you confirm in the save dialog are sent only to your own Getlead CRM account at https://v3.getleadcrm.com, using your API key.
• The API key and your default source/status are stored in Chrome sync storage (chrome.storage.sync) so they follow your Chrome profile.
• A list of phone numbers you have already saved is kept in local Chrome storage (chrome.storage.local) so the button can show a "Saved" state.

No data is sent to the extension developer or to any third party. There is no analytics, tracking, or advertising.

Data retention and deletion

All locally stored data is removed when you uninstall the extension. Data sent to Getlead CRM is governed by Getlead's own privacy policy and can be managed inside your Getlead account.
